Alongside fellow ‘Chris’ Montana, ‘Telling Tales’ marked his last appearance on VANDIT. This time out though Chris Bekker is riding solo. The result is ‘Invader’ - a slice of cinematically atmospheric electronic music that’ll keeps the pigeonholers guessing & reassessing from first beat to last.
In the need for some proper sonic mood-food!? Well you’ve come to the right place… Chris opens the track with long highly-strung strings, before weighing in with trooping beats and tense, fire-starting sub-riffs.
As stompy, stormy and atmospheric as you like, on the floor ‘Invader’ is what ‘Invader’ does. Sometime trancey, occasionally prog-house-ish, with festival overtones and electro undertones, the Berliner has them all here to hear. ‘Invader’ gets the exclusive drop on Beatport on July 28.
