Dance Valley was born in the mid 90's at Recreational Area Spaarnwoude as one of the first widely setup dance festivals. In 2011, Dance Valley has grown to a musical attraction parc with several festivals inside the mother festival. The introduction of the 4 so-called 'Grounds' - with each its own sound and atmosphere - invite the visitor for an exciting musical exploration around the wilde area.

At the 17th edition of Dance Valley, about 150 artists will perform spread over the Holy Ground (the Mainstage at the Velsen Valley), Solid Ground (House and Techno), Secret Ground (Trance) and Higher Ground (Hardstyle and Hard Dance). 

In 20 years time, the dance scene has been developped immensively. Dance Valley Festival will take an unchanged position in of the best, biggest and most variable electronic music festival of the year. Also this summer, the festival received positive critics and was the festival the surprise of the year.
