The format of Ferry's Fix contrasts entirely from Corsten's other hugely successful and long-running "Corsten's Countdown" show, the former a straight DJ mix of continuous music without talking or guests, and the latter a countdown show of individual tracks. (Corsten's Countdown currently airs in more than 50 countries on a weekly basis, including exclusively on SiriusXM Radio in the U.S.)

Ferry's Fix is totally different and unique from my Corsten's Countdown show which will continue unchanged. The reason I've decided to do a new monthly show – as opposed to Corsten's Countdown, which is weekly – is to give a stage to all of the killer music I find each month that perhaps doesn't fit into the format of Corsten's Countdown. I wanted to give listeners a full hour of the best upfront tunes, hottest remixes or unexpected goodies in the format of a pure DJ mix with Ferry's Fix.
