Miss Schössow, nothing but a pleasure having you with us, this has certainly been a busy and constructive year for you - is there any specific incident you would likLinnea Schossowe to mention?

It's been indeed exiting and busy year for me. I'm really happy that I finally got time to make music. Well I just got my track "Beyond The Sea" with Jo Micali signed on Well mixed records. I'm really looking forward to see how people will like it. We already got supported from my brother Marcus Schössow in his radio show "Tone Diary".

How would you describe your specific style and distinct nature that is brought to your sound?

When I was younger I fell strongly in love with the tune Delerium - Silence feat. Sarah McLachlan (Tiësto Mix) and I always told myself that I want to do something like this one day. And I always had lots of ideas in my mind - how I would like to do a vocal track, now, it's the first time when I have a music studio and time to do it.

About my style...well I'm still working on it, evolving, discovering new things... I love all kinds of music but so far Ive been working on trance tracks.

Which other females, producers or vocalists, do you personally admire?

Oooh there are so many of them who are absolutley great, who I admire and who I get inspiration from.
If I have to mention a few then it would be Sarah McLachlan, Jaren, Aruna, Susana, Audrey Gallagher and Claudia Cazacu.

For the readers who are unaware, perhaps some info on your radio show?

My show is called "From Sweden with love" and its only pure trance hits that I'm playing. Some good oldies but mostly the newest tunes out there.
My job is to make you want to shake your booty when your listening to my show. I hope I'm doing my job well so far. ;)
You can catch my radio show on www.music.com.mt

Linnea SchossowConsidering the tunes you have worked on, which would be your favorite?

I haven't even thought about this yet. I like them all a lot and I have new ones coming up with Amex, Silverj & Catania and my brother. I'm so excited just working on the new tunes. So far I think they are all good.

Let's take a step back now, what were your influences and experiences that stemmed you in the Electonic Music genre? How old were you when you first spinned a tune on the decks?

When I was young (around 9 years old) and listened to Spice Girls (yea yea I know you listened to them aswell..just admit it) and other hot 90's songs. I already had a brother who listened to Tiësto reeeeally loud, what used to piss me off big time, because for me it was too much unts unts going on. Then after a while I got hooked aswell and I started to get ideas in my head of how I would like to do trance tunes.
As I said before, when I heard Sarah McLachlan singing Silence for the first time I knew this is something I really want to do.

My first big gig will actually take place in Malta this year on the 14th of November at Club Axis, where I will be playing with First State, Sophie Sugar, Marcella Woods and José Amnesia.

Which are your current favourite tunes of 2009?

At the moment I'm totally hooked on my brothers remix of John O’Callaghan feat. Audrey Gallagher – Take It all away.
Also some other ”bombs” from 2009 for me are Rex Mundi feat. Susan - Nothing At All, Ummet Ozcan - Timewave Zero and Ashley Wallbridge & Andy Moor feat. Meighan Nealon - Faces
Oh, and Above & Beyond, every single track from their Sirens Of The Sea album is amazing!

Favourite Cartoon Character?

That definitely has to be Nemo and Wall-e. They're so damn cute! ;)

I actually have an important question for you, Miss Linnea, would you give me your mobile number?

hahaha.....
