Sean Tyas links 2-album deal with Black Hole Recordings

International trance heavyweight Sean Tyas has inked a 2-album deal with one of the most lauded dance record labels of all time, Black Hole Recordings.

The news comes as Tyas is riding high on the success of his latest hit single, “Now You See,” which continues to dominate the top of the Beatport [Trance] chart since its release last month.

Says Tyas, “Signing with a label that’s done so much for names like Ferry Corsten, BT, Cosmic Gate, and of course, Tiësto, is a great opportunity for me to grow as an artist and to reach a larger audience with my music. I’ve found a great label home that shares my vision, and I’m committed to bringing nothing less than 120% to this project.

Though Tyas has yet to release a studio album, his 8 year career is filled with landmark achievements. The New York native exploded onto the scene in 2006 with his smashing #1 single, “Lift.” Since then Tyas has racked up 5 consecutive high rankings within the DJ Mag Top 100, and a multitude of #1’s hits, such as his unforgettable remix of Dash Berlin and Emma Hewitt’s “Waiting,” and the ground breaking “Seven Weeks,” which spent an incomparable 12 weeks at #1.

The debut LP is tentatively slated for release in early 2015, through a newly-formed joint partnership between Tyas' own Tytanium Recordings and Black Hole Recordings. Arny Bink, owner of Black Hole Recordings and 4x IDMA nominee says, “We're extremely happy to welcome Sean to the Black Hole artist family. Sean is an extraordinary talent, and we can’t wait to release his music and work with his label Tytanium.”

Tyas expands on the label merge stating, “An absolute stalwart in this industry, Black Hole Recordings is in many ways a foundation of the whole trance genre, and this really fits with how I view my label and the future releases as to how it is moving forward.  There is no room for complacency with Tytanium; it’s about the artists each bringing their A-game to the table.”

With so many new beginnings, Sean promises an action-packed year of excitement for his fans, starting off with his performance at the Who's Afraid of 138 stage at ASOT 650 Utrecht next month.
