The story behind 'Adagio For Strings' with Ferry Corsten
'Adagio For Strings' is a classical piece of music from the hands of American composer Samuel Barber (March 9, 1910 – January 23, 1981). In 2004, 'Adagio For Strings' was voted the world’s "saddest piece of music" in one survey of listeners by BBC radio.

During the years 'Adagio For Strings' has been reworked and remixed by lots of people in all kind of genres and styles. Some of the most well known versions were done by William Orbit, Ferry Corsten, Tiësto and Paul Oakenfold.
