In 1999 Dutch DJ and producer Mischa van der Heiden (a.k.a. DJ Misjah) made a trance track for a new project, which he called 'AMbassador'. The first track that came out under this name was 'The Fade'.
'The Fade' first got released on Misjah’s own label Smash Trax, but later it also got licensed to UK based label Platipus. The track got remixed by Oliver Lieb, but Mischa himself did a remix as well, together with Piet Bervoets and Benno de Goeij (a.k.a. Rank 1).
