'The Track That...' with Roger Shah
The 10th episode already of our exclusive 'The Track That...' series. This time Tim Stark interviewed Roger Shah who has recently released volume 6 of his mix compilation series 'Magic Island'.

The track that I wish I’d produced is Tiësto Remix’s of Paul Oakenfold’s Southern Sun. I think this is my all-time favorite dance track. Especially the song writing and voice of amazing Carla Werner is totally outstanding.

The track that could make a grown man cry is Sunlounger - Lost. I saw that so many times when I played it. Even guys were crying. It is amazing when people can let their fears go.

The track that never fails to put a smile on my face is Eve Belle & Brian Laruso - Solace. It‘s a very unique tune in sound and singing as well.

The track that I’m playing every gig at the moment is… my collaboration with Aisling Jarvis - When You‘re Here, will be one of my next main singles

The track that isn’t electronic dance music, but rocks just the same is anything which falls into orchestral movie score category.

The track that shoulda been in a movie is in the making right now! I’m working on a full orchestral album with Hollywood composer Nick Murray.

The track that is so perfect in its Original form it should never be touched by man nor remixer is Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes (Gabriel & Dresden Sweeping Strings Mix)

The tracks that changed my life were Sunlounger - Lost, which became an ASOT Tune Of The Year, White Sand - my first hit at Armada and Going Wrong - my collaboration with Armin.

The track that I’ve released is more than just a track in fact, but an entire mix-album. It’s Volume 6 of my Magic Island - Music For Balearic People series.
