'The Track That...' with Sean Tyas
After a little break, here's the 11th episode of our exclusive 'The Track That...' series. This time Tim Stark interviewed Sean Tyas who has just released his new artist album called Degeneration.

The track that I wish I’d produced is... Camo & Krooked - Watch It Burn.  Fucking amazing dnb track with an incredible melodic hook that takes me away.

The track that never fails to put a smile on my face is.. my single Vagabond.  Total hybrid of trance, psy and melody that really rocks the floor when it climaxes. What makes me smile is that I did the vocals. Betcha didn’t know that now!

The track that I’m playing every gig at the moment is... Hive [A], this one just refuses to leave my set list. It has this power in the drops that I just love to watch unfold out onto the dancefloor.

The track that isn’t electronic dance music, but rocks all the same is... Smashing Pumpkins - Cherub Rock.  One of this band’s best riffs they’ve ever done, back from an amazing era of rock music.

The track that shoulda been in a movie is... Metrik - What’s Out There. One of the most original sounding tracks I’ve ever heard. Truly astounding production and totally has this amazing groove to it that keeps you moving.

The track that is so perfect in its Original form it should never be touched by man nor remixer is... Nah, bullshit, any track in existence can be made better. Nothing in this entire world is perfect.

The track that could make a grown man cry is... Netsky vs. Metrik feat. Stealth - Can’t Speak. Sorry to throw another DnB one in here, but this one’s got some amazing vocals that completely took my by surprise when I heard it the first time (and every time after).

The tracks that changed my life were... Paul van Dyk - We Are Alive, The Prodigy - Fire (Sunrise Version), Moby - Feeling So Real, The KLF - Last Train To Trancentral

The track that I’ve just put out there… well I’ve just put the whole Degeneration album out, but if I had to pick one track, Start Over feat. Cindy Zanotta. At 15 years old, this girl sings so well already. Just wait a couple of years...

Sean’s debut album ‘Degeneration’ is out, about and kickin’ ass now! A near essential for any collection, we reckon, you can get a hold of it through via this link https://blackhole.choons.at/degeneration
