(I have a PC and keyboard. One of my friends accidentally trashed my earphones, so I need to buy new ones. But the only program I know of right now is GarageBand on the Apple computers. yeah i downloaded the full production kit from BP.. it was cheap for 10 good sounds so ill prolly just mess around to and if i get anything good before the date ill throw it in..

the 2nd Coming album is finished primarily in the production sense of things, so all we have not is mix all the songs together and master everything before setting the release date :) so i wont be in a rush to produce any new tracks for a lil while as ill be promoting on i leave to go on tour July 4th so most of my production will be done on the road :)

my first solo album is gonna be crazy!!! inspired by everything i see  :)

I don't know, really. I just have this fascination for coins. Maybe I should start collecting them and exchanging them for bills. Lots of coins about the house.

Ok, now I'm thinking of my playing card collection. (I collect different playing card decks)

I used to collect coins as a kid. Had about 50 different ones, most of them were foreign ones used in the european countries back then, now replaced by Euros. I had few old ones too. I believe I still have them around, need to ask my mom if she knows where they are.

Who knows, in a few years they might actually be worth something.

I used to collect postage stamps too, but didn't go too far with that.

I used to collect old currency. Not just coins, but anything. Had stuff from Cuba, Japan in the 1940's, some U.S. coins from the early 1800's, Canadian, France, Spain, England, and a couple of islands that I can't remember...but my mom sold everything for $50. :(

I'm thinking that Nick is in love with random objects around the household.

I'm gonna agree with Vitamin on this one. keep practicing. I mean I'm not going to say I know how to beatmatch... I too am god awful, but the real prize from making this mix is you being able to enjoy your favorites in a nice 1-2 hour set. make the mix and post it with a tracklisting :)

also if you want to get a little more serious, try Serato... works wonders

My beatmatching is ok, sometimes I hit it right, sometimes I don't. 

I said this before but DJing/Producing is like playing a sport.  Dwayne Wade didn't start hitting 3 pointers when he first picked up the ball, it took practice.  Same applies to DJing/producing.

There is however, one trick I do use to saving myself from a trainwreck. 

For example, let's say I have both songs at the same BPM and everything is in place.  Song A has 1:30 remaining so I try to beatmatch.  I do the four count and everything but when I hit the play button on the next track it still sounds wacky.  Luckily, I have the crossfader on Song A so that no one notices my mistake.  I try again with 1:00 remaining and most of the time, I get it right.

I am thinking about how my arm hurts from playing "ROCK BAND", a game similar to Guitar Hero, except you can play guitar, drums or sing!

Until recently, we had been playing songs in easy mode, but when we got a certain amount of fans, the game blocked out the Easy option and we were forced to do medium.....

Games can be so mean sometimes.

lol well as exciting as it was my stuff was trapped in the library at the top of the building where the fire was. So yeah a) I was worried about it and b) I'm pissed off as I can't get it until tommorow.

haha, I remember when we had to leave university in the middle of the class because of a bomb threat last year. We went out and waited for the building to explode with the phones in our hands and our fingers on the record button.

Turned out it was false alarm, probably by someone who wasn't ready to do the exam that day :D

Was pretty exciting though.

yeah... we had a bomb scare at my high school my junior year... it was crazy because it was too long after 9/11 and all the other school shootings...

but we got out like 3/4 of the day :)

We had a bomb threat too when I was in 6th grade.  An alarm went off and we were told to leave the building.  The bomb threat was false, but we had to stand outside in the rain for 20 minutes.  The police and fire department and BOMB SQUAD showed up though.

I don't think they ever caught the guy.  Here, making a false bomb threat may result in expulsion and possible arrest.

although i thought about buying the iMac and using it for DJing gigs :) not sure how that would work out though
