Title: Re: Above & Beyond - Anjunabeats Volume 5 Post by: R33 on April 18, 2007, 06:57:52 PM Actually "Good for Me" is only about a month and a half old at best. It was released in March 07, so dont worry, you havent missed out on anything :D

I saw Tri-State on Amazon with Good for Me on it and ran out to grab it! Amazon claimed it was released early 2006 Title: Re: Above & Beyond - Anjunabeats Volume 5 Post by: R33 on April 20, 2007, 08:28:10 AM Yes, well Tri-State was released exactly (almost) a year ago. April 18th 06, but it did not have the full version of Good for me on it. it was aradio edit. That actual single (which I thought you were talking about ) came out this march :)
Either way, its still a great song! Title: Re: Above & Beyond - Anjunabeats Volume 5 Post by: PsychoKilla666 on April 21, 2007, 03:53:06 AM it is an amazing song, and i think i slightly prefer the new club mix

Title: Re: Above & Beyond - Anjunabeats Volume 5 Post by: Hypnotic on May 10, 2007, 11:29:59 AM The promo discs arived in my mailbox yesterday.
This is definitely one of the best releases so far this year. Has a lot of great new material in it. CD 1 starts off with the nice atmosphere of Michael Cassette's "Zeppelin", continues with the funky beats of "Battery Life", the groovy sound of Jaytech's "Essence" and the beautiful breakdown of "Remember September", followed by some nice piano sounds in "Together" and the lovely Wippenberg Remix of "Needs To Feel", which is one of my current favorite tracks. The mix continues with the second Jaytech track on this compilation, "Spacelift" and Junk Science's "My Name Is Jacques", followed by another great tune - "Formalistick" from Stephen J.Kroos' new album, and Above and Beyond's own "Buzz". Oliver Smith - Tomahawk is the first of the last 3 tracks on this CD, and is followed by the awesome melody of Nitrous Oxide's "Amnesia". The CD finishes with the beautiful club mix of "Good For Me". CD 2 is awesome, my favorite of the two. It just gets better as it goes, tune after tune. It starts with a great track by Maor Levi, "Shapes", followed by "Megashira" and the great vibe of DJ Shah's remix of "One Night In Tokyo". The mix continues with Bart Claessen's rework of "Razorfish", one my favorite A&B tunes created under their Tranquility Base alias. The next one is my personal favorite on this CD - Daniel Kandi's "Make Me Believe", which is followed by the great vocals in Above & Beyond's club mix of "Home" and the nice melody in Oliver Smith's "Nimbus". The mix makes it's way through the great piano in Tranquility Base's last track on this compilation - "Oceanic" and the product of Mark Pledger's collaboration with Super8 & Tab - "Worldwide", to the gorgeous melody of Remo Con's "Cold Front", remixed by Bart Claessen. Another 2 great tracks follow: A&B's remix of Adam Nickey - Never Gone and Evbointh's "One Wish". The second CD ends with the beautiful sounds of "Suru" by Super8 & Tab, a great way to finish this awesome compilation. A great compilation. I highly recommend it to any trance fan.
