The only thing I want to say is...I've pronouciated Ibiza like 'eabeaza' for so many years! Today, I hear what PvD talked about his Cream Ibiza so that I finally find out that it should be 'aibiza'!
people here in China, when it comes to 'commercial', they always think of Tiesto.Never have they ever think this of PvD or AvB.And a minority(yet does exist) say Oceanlab is. But I still dont understand this.
To me, commercial is producers bulid up a track using quite more cheasy elements(especially pop vocal) than advanced effects/synths complex. So 'White Lies' and 'Going Wrong' might be classified as commercial by me though they both include good techniques and their great devotion.
And I suppose sometimes people may have a tendency that when a trance track contains vocals, they would more easily classify it as commercial than when it doesn't. Well somehow I couldn't agree with this for 100%. Many vocals in the tracks fit well and have a trancy feeling. However, the border-line of whether the vocal is trancy or not isn't that explicit, which really confused me much!
This is another reason why I prefer Armin over Tiesto. Armin doesn't go with all this commercial crap.
well, anyway, having one's own shoes with signature is really exciting and worth to be proud of! Maybe he just love this feeling while being identified as 'commercial' might be just a side-product...
And this generation of Tiesto shoes surely wins over the first. The wave design ties the music theme up.
i've quite been shocked when i hear so many "aggressive" house trax in disk 1. I know many trance DJs nowadays are playing progressive house, but this time PvD got more "brave" of course i'm not those who resist this trend, i enjoy disk 1 quite well as i enjoy trance trax. he wont stay all the same all the time. and, disk 2 is mostly uplifting, yeah, good. The whole compi fit the vibe of Ibiza right! Has anyone checked Cream Ibiza mixed by Markus Schulz?
though it's a bit hard 4 me to go thru so tiny words, still i read it carefully between lines. Tiesto is more than a party animal that i usually thought him of. thank u!!
and p.s- i notice that you've changed your avatar! frankly, i really miss the former one haha~~
wow,3 disks..awesome.1 for progressive, 2 for electro, 3 for some trance tends to be somewhat house-like? but to be frank , i love ISOS series apart from 6. ASIA... will it be Shanghai.? (Just several kilometers from my home~) It would be great to have a city of China on the cover hehe...! 10th June...
en,I see, I'll soon graduated from secondary school and is goin' to equip myself. It's quite neccessary to save money since there's somethin more to buy. I'll take this advice, to search a CDJ plus a DJM of second hand, and start out to be an amateur lil DJ~
Thank you RiFt_77! It is so nice to know that this great track is also from David West, I love his "True Love" and "Stuck In Friendsville" and many more. Again ,THANK YOU!
they're moving 2,at least Dresden is moving to house. dont get upset, their own dicision. i'll show all my support. Dresden recently dropped a house single track, I heard. gotta check it out
The lyrics goes like "I can turn the water into sky Let me show you how and let me try I can turn the water into wine But no matter what I do I can't make you mine..." (I,a Chinese listener, just listen to it myself with my poor listening ability, something just like that but not exactly correct )
It frequently appeared in Moor Music sets in 2006.A male vocal. Also an instrumental version available among those sets. a very club-like song, bringing us to a highest part of a live set, but when I search the Internet, the tracklist always show "unknown artist- ID" . Great hope of someone who can identify this track, its name and the producer, thank you.
