Thanks for the link! Can't wait to get this set. Any set with When Things Go Wrong by Airware in it has gotta be awesome in the first place (When Things Go Wrong's one of my favorite tunes)... then to be spun by Marcus?
Dunno what it is... but I've very recently been turned on to Markus Schulz, and there is something about his spinning and producing that sets him waaaaay apart from everyone else, and I love his stuff.
Well, everyone, thanks for your input and advice. Now I know what to be prepared for.
VitaminDLW, I'm from northern Michigan. There is no scene here... it's really sad, man. You say "trance" and people look at you like you just started talking in Greek. :'( Also, most of the people in my church don't agree with my music... but I can understand that because they don't understand my music. They're just scared of what doesn't make sense to them, I guess.
So ASOT 350 is playing at the moment. I'm seventeen... almost of age. I'm graduating in twenty-nine days and I'll be able to do some stuff. I must say, though, that I've lived a very sheltered life thus far... I've never been to a concert, a real party, or a rave.
What are raves like? I am really really into trance music; I'd be going for the music. But I've heard from various (and fairly unreliable) sources that raves are full of drugs, sex, and booze. I'm a Christian, and I don't want to be a part of that kind of stuff.
Are there any raves that don't have a lot of drinking, sex, and drugs? Where do I find them?
Yeah, the loops I use are just filler loops, but they're loops just the same. However, I'm clear on when to use them and when not to. Just like anything else, they can be used and overused, I suppose.
Seriously, this is really helping me. Thanks a ton.
