well.... i do know that Hard House originated from the London gay scene. And i only know that because its pioneering artist was gay, Tony De Vit.

the tdv statement is not exactly 100% accurate but tdv was one of the founder DJ's to bring it to the forefront TDV was acctually a wedding DJ before he went to trade in london and heard early hard house and fell in love with it (thank god lol) http://dancemusic.about.c...enres/a/HistHardHouse.htm

one of gods special limited editions

why would i like it if you made me listen to thrash metal i'd rather scrape  my ear drums out with rusty cheese graters! its not that i havn't heard it and give it a chance ! it's just shit ! END OF!

sorry i should rephrase that....Hard House originated from London and was popular in the London gay Scene... and its pioneering artist TDV was rumoured to be gay.

That is very cool to learn a little history of the genre.  I did not know some of that stuff.

Hahaha it's funny to hear so much talk about someone being gay. But one thing I believe in is that the different gay scenes around the world have a lot to do with the dance scenes around the world. hahah off topic, definitely.

I havnt been out on the London club scene yet, but my sister who's on job placement there says, the gay night at Dot Cotton is actually the best night to go out on. Everyone is so much more relaxed and there's usually no fights about which guy gets what girl...if you get me.

Good topic anyways. I have a request though, could someone direct me to a sample of each of those genres. I dont really 'get' the difference by reading it, I have to listen to it. O.O
Just a list of songs that fit into each category will do. Grin
Thanks!!!
