Thought we should have a thread on what kinda Trance you are specifically into. There are a variety of sub-genres within Trance, but which one is your favourite? Sorry if this has been posted before.

Uplifting/Melodic? e.g. Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Sean Tyas etc.
Progressive? e.g. M.I.K.E., Cosmic Gate, Deadmau5?
Psychadelic? e.g. Christopher Lawrence, John '00' Fleming
Other?

progressive. It seems that I was more exposed to that kind of trance, although you can say I'm also into uplifting.

Psy is my first trance love, so yeah, that's what I'd pick. Wouldn't call Christopher Lawrence and John '00' Fleming pure psy artists though. Wink

I'm into any kind of trance. But the first genre of it I heard was progressive trance, which was about a year and a half ago.

Please never forget that you're special to me.

I like all 3 of those trance genres.  Infact i was at a psytrance party at university and it was really trippy.  Interesting people there too, some were kind of freaky lol.  But yeah I like all 3, but my main preference is progressive trance w/ some kind of uplifting atmosphere, not just rough rhythms.

There is a uniting, powerful energy in this world that we call trance.

If a trance track has instruments like piano, guitars or drums, it's got my attention.

Trance is the best music in the world! ... end of discussion.

Uplifting is my favourite. Some tracks are just so amazingly melodic (Andy Blueman springs to mind). I don't mind a bit of proggy but not a fan of Psy.
