I really like that logo above.  Very smart Grin

As for the record label idea.  Well Trance Podium Records is cool.  Maybe just Trance Podium?  Keep it simple yea?  releases could be TP001 and so forth.

As for realizing it, its a bit down the line and  agree with Marjan.  Starting up a label is a painstaking process.  me and my best mate have been in the slow slow progress of starting ours for 2 years now.

A few of my friends in the UK started up their label a few years back and have been pretty successful with it  [mpfs records]  They also have dedicated most of their savings and time into the label.  It is tough out there.

It is definitely something to put on the "To do" list though   Wink

I love this record label idea as I have awlays wanted to start one myself.

I wonder how long it will take us to get it off the ground and become a full-fledged label, like Ultra Records or Armada Music?

I know that you have get a truckload of licenses and spend a large sum of money on this.  Nick sent me a link with some information on it.

from what ive heard.. its not that much money aside from subscribing to places like audiojelly/beatport/etc. all those add up and paying for the releases.

as for licenses and what not i hear its not that much... ive heard of labels being established in as little as a day... not sure though.. still have to talk to my cousin (a lawyer).. but the main thing is, where do we want the home of the label to be. lol

Well what I was thinking is we set up a main base and have other bases in the countries we reside in.

This way, we can distribute our music to different places.

Beatport aren't accepting any new labels at the moment...
