The thing in the video with the filters automation is the FL Dashboard. With it you can create controllers. For example if you have open project and there are vst's , go to the column on the left, click on Current Project, then Generators, choose the vst, and you see all it's functions. Then you can link filters, reverb, delay functions to the program you've created previously on the dashboard. This only makes it easier for you to work, but not necessarily, because I can work without it. Smile

KIKSU - cool. Would you have any idea how it could be done on Logic? Same process?

(Sorry but what does vst stand for?)

VST is the tool you make the sounds with. It has lots of functions.
About Logic, I don't know anything. Don't have a Mac, so I don't have Logic either.

But it's on my list to buy it sometime.

Go here http://trance.nu/v4/forum/viewforum.php?f=14

and read the stickies (topics). That's enough for a beginner.

@ Ben

No probs. Smile

I was reading this thread earlier this day and tried this trick in FL... Created a beautiful melody... It's contained of two plucks and one pad.

I created it in half an hour. Added a delay to the plucks, some eq, and then played with the dashboard, created an automation lines for the filter frequencies of the synths and this is what I came up with. Probably will turn it into a track someday. Wink

Wow!!! That was awesome! Would like to try that on Logic but not sure what the corresponding lingo would be. Dashboard? Automation lines for the filter frequencies? If I could figure these out I might be on my way.
