How 'bout a shoutbox somewhere? Grin
Could add one, but it could distract members from the discussions in the forum. I'll give it a go though.

Not sure I understand that buddy. Could you explain what do you mean by "section for only famous DJz Remixes"?

Regarding the DJ/Producer Talk. I don't really know if you guys are ok with this. But I would suggest providing two separate boards for DJ talk and Producer talk.

Well, let me give you a limited definition of mine for Producer. For one thing, it someone who mixes songs properly so that they could be given the proper feel and texture that the artist is trying to aim for. Or, if the artist does not know what 'listenable' means, the producer fixes that. In this definition I consider myself a producer, and not a DJ necessarily.

Producers and DJs could be talking about different things despite the same words. For example, if you're talking to a Producer, if you talk about equipment, it would more likely pertain to mixing desks, and recording materials, etc. But for a DJ, of course there are turntables, speakers, and equipment specific for computer mixing or otherwise.

But of course, I have also considered reasons for doing otherwise. If there is not a lot of people here leaning towards the producer side, then I don't think there is a need for a separate board.

I don't know if I'm making any sense, or that I might be thinking of ideas based on the wrong assumptions, but somehow I just thought of it and felt the need to share it.

But still, great site, people! Grin

Good point Nick!

When we started the forums there weren't many people around so we started with less boards/topics so it doesn't look too empty. But I'm willing to expand the sections as we grow. Thank you for your suggestion.

I apologize for not being around too often lately. Been quite busy so I couldn't  work on the site much.
I will get to everything as soon as I get an internet connection at my appartment.

Keep them coming.

I think this site needs more updating, more informations. If not you (the admin), then the moderators should do that for you... more reviews, more interviews etc...

Yeah, maybe we could get a team for that, so they would feel free to do that. And if others want to contribute now and then, why not.

That's a good idea.

I could give you permissions to write stories/interviews/articles on the main site.

Anyone interested? Smile
