Hey, ... first of all, your tune has only 4 min... so its structure sucks.
It should've at least, 6min... you can't make a good buildup in 4 min.
Another thing is that you've used claps, and imho, you should've used snare instead. Claps sound better @dance tracks. Also... the kick's volume must be higher... maybe you just compressed it too much:|

I think I should address your points.

The reason it's 4 minutes is because I like to make them for that sort of length. I've only recently started making tunes so i'm trying to gauge and learn about structure. I know that this track can be extended a fair bit because there's some sections where I can play around a bit.

I don't think I actually used claps in this song...

Thanks for the info about Kicks volume, i'll try to address that if I make an extended mix. I didn't compress it though...

and only bad tunes are boring...

you may think that longer tunes are better yourself, im not saying there not good, im saying my own opinion, that i think shortened tunes are better, take a listen to heaven scent on you tube by digweed, its 3mins long and is a tune of the century! your opinion is that extended tunes are better, and i respect that, but i prefer shorter ones

They usually make the radio edits about 3-4 minutes, but I prefer listening to the full-length track.
