I just watched it and i kept thinking how i want to kill her and sit there instead asking him real questions. I love how he just doesnt care and he talks about what he does :<3:

... Endless love and trust in trance ...

That was the most amazing interview I've seen in my life. I LOL'd so hard! :D

But seriously, what "journalist" interviews a superstar DJ like Markus Shulz without doing their homework? And Concrete Angel? Really?

Markus just proves that he's a fucking boss once again. Turned this interview from a complete trainwreck into a drinking game. :D

OMG!! How stupid is she??? Even without doing your homework you HAVE to know Concrete Angel isn't Markus'. All you need is to like the music :undecided:

Looooooved the way Markus handled it, didn't take it serious, but just made fun of her and took over the interview hahaha

Great find Vera and ye I felt the same :(

Yeah Markus did really well.

Two quotes that made me cringe thought -

"Energy on the dancefloor" you could tell she was saying that with very little experience of that energy and also "The whole movement behind it, super excited about it and we love spreading the.... Edm Love... and the passion for the music as well."

Eugh.

Can't think of anyone else who would do a better job than Markus here. I believe he saved her job by his act. Just shows how uninformed interviewers are nowadays.

At least it made me laugh. She took 4 shots in less than a minute. :D

In this interview he mentions why he changed sounds. Frankly I miss his old stuff, this big room aggressive noise stuff just isn't for me and as a non-clubber, I don't find it be that interesting and its not something I would like to buy.

As for this interview well I think she didn't know anything about Markus.

But you have to realize this music is firstly made for clubbing. It's dance music, made for dancing ;) The fact that it's been commercialized and many tracks are also made for home-listening, doesn't change it's origin. Especially when you mention his old stuff ;)

Btw, can you really blame her? She's American :p

I am well aware of the fact that its called EDM for a reason but,
I don't see the point of releasing music if it only suppose to sound good (subjectively speaking) in one particular environment. I mean you see Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Digweed filling up their gigs because they play progressive house, tech house and deep house stuff which is similar not exactly the same to what Schulz used to play and you can also listen to that at home.

Just be aware that House and Techno actually came from America :P

EDM started in Belgium, house perhaps, but techno isn't coming from America and trance certainly isn't coming from there :p

And don't know about Cattaneo as I don't know his stuff, but Sasha and Digweed can't be played at home. At least, not at my home and what they play now is not even close to what Schulz used to play. In fact, I go crazy both at home AND in the club with what Schulz is playing now. AND what he used to play :p
