Coldharbour recordings -

Not too sure if this is true or not but according to this forum post below Colaharbour recordings is no longer releasing new records and looks like the entire label has been moved to the archive section just like with magic island and Subculture which are no longer with Armada anymore or the contract has expired. I find it a bit odd that Schulz has remained quiet on this. Also looks like he's no longer with his booking agency under David Lewis.

Looks like there is a possibility that he's moved to Blackhole recordings or own their own.

Well the label is still active:

Plus, the official Twitter still says it is owned by Armada.

Now known as Randy Derricott. I may sometimes use the DJ Ranz alias for certain projects though.

But they've moved to the archives here. The labels can still sell their old records but I don't think the label will release any new material. They haven't released anything until June and it's almost August

While Subculture has moved away from Armada and is back solely in the hands of John O'Callaghan, Magic Island and Coldharbour have not had releases since May. Coldharbour Red stopped having releases in sept 2012.

As far as I can tell, it seems these labels are done releasing music, even though Coldharbour's FB profile is still active, it looks like its only events right now. Lets hope they come back under their respected owners, especially Coldharbour. Its a classic label and a legend.

Subculture is now under the Black Hole umbrella. That or, at the very least, Black Hole is handling distribution of their releases.

Coldharbour's last release was Purple Stories - Black Warrior EP in May 2013. In addition, Markus Schulz latest single, "TEMPTED" was released on Armada, not Coldharbour. I don't know he is permanately releasing music on Armada itself or if it was just for that single.

Looks like Magic Island has moved to Blackhole recordings.

So I am wondering has Schulz moved to Blackhole or even Flashover with Ferry Corsten. It wouldn't surprise me if he did move over to Flashover.

Coldhrabour is still active because they've got a release in August coming up

Wonder why the sudden exodus of labels from Armada?

I also noticed that Vandit has been removed from Armada as well. It is now in the hands of Paul van Dyk GmbH.

Thats four labels in a rather short time frame....

I just messaged Markus Schulz's personal facebook and he said that Coldharbour is now working independently of Armada now. I assume that they are still on friendly terms as Markus still releases material on Armada from time to time.

hmmm.. I am glad to hear Coldharbour is back to Markus running it.

I preferred the pre-armada Coldharbour as the sound was way more geared towards that darker progressive sound. I wonder if we will start seeing that style of track come back to the label, or if that wonderful old coldharbour sound is gone à la Anjunabeats....

As of 2015, Coldharbour will now join AVA, Magic Island, Flashover & Subculture in being distributed by Black Hole.

Not too much of a surprise, seeing as how the newest NEW WORLD PUNX single was released on Black Hole.

Hope this will bring back the Coldharbour sound the way it was. Didn't like many tracks being released there anymore. Also think Mike's tracks aren't as good as before anymore since he joined Coldharbour.

Somewhat related but it seems like Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto has defected to the Black Hole camp too. Perfecto is listed as a sublabel on Black Hole's website.
