I wanted to post the videos from the Astral Projection gig last Saturday, but didn't want to open a special topic so I'm creating this one.

Feel free to post impressions from the last gig you went to. Video, photos, text, anything goes.


If anyone gets the chance to see Astral Projection, go see them. These guys made my week. The set was awesome, psychedelic & full of melodies. They played some of their old tunes as well as some new ones from the new album, which I'm getting for sure.

One thing I was bothered with was the MC. This dude played on the rap stage of the festival and then got back on stage during AP's set and somehow got the mic. He kept screaming during breakdowns and pissed the shit out of the crowd.

Markus Schulz - The best gig for me this year, had the chance to experience it from a DJ perspective.

I saw Markus as well and REALLY enjoyed it. Carl Cox was my last though and I had a blast!

Didn't stay much at that stage, was on the psychedelic one. Though I heard about 30 mins of his set. Not my cup of tea to be honest.

Above & Beyond at club Colosseum, Skopje.

It was amazing! Jono and Paavo played and they rocked the floor. Paavo was especially awesome, he was ecstatic right from the start. For a moment I thought he was on something.

Played a lot of anjuna material. Lots of Oceanlab tunes as well. I expected them to play I Am What I Am, but it didn't happen.

Great party nevertheless.

Ye, they tend to play a lot of their own and other Anjunabeats tracks, what can make it sound a bit too much of the same, but I still can't wait to see them in August

A&B were very good although I thought they were better last year at Global. Played what you would expect and as others have said Pavo is well into it.

JOC was the best of the lot though played a blinder including invisible touch really enjoyed it. Met Joel D before hand to get my tickets nice guy really friendly and was fantastic when I first saw him in 2007.

Saturday I trekked up to NYC for Sean Tyas and Ryan Tyas @ Love Night club.  Lots of DC people were in the house.  Very wierd club, although I must say I had a good time until the cops shut the place down really early (330am) cuz some kid OD'd on drugs outside the place.  He didnt die, so thats good to know.

Ah nice man. Love i've heard is a very claustrophobic club, bad ventilation. And yeah I heard about the cops too, AH.fm was broadcasting the event and they were all wondering why the stream cut off.
