Hi All!
Ive been booked to play a private party in July and the promoter has asked that I play a trance classics set. All well and good but I dont want my set to sound dated next to the other DJs who wont be playing classics.
I agreed with the promotor that I would play modern Remixes of classics so the set sound current but you still get the "AW I LOVE THIS ONE" factor.

Ive tracked down a fair few but id be interested if you guys have any sugestions?

As long as there won't be any Alex R.E.M.A.K.E. remixes posted, I think he can live with it haha

Some really great remakes are posted here, I would only play the MarLo Remix of Punk instead of Arty's. Less known and I think it's an even better one

And already made a selection of the tracks? How long will your set be? Any chance of recording it and posting it here on the forums? I would look forward to that

Hehe, there is nothing wrong with having a bit of fun, and some of them are pretty good, but a lot of times people will be disappointed they did not get to hear the classic version

I actually want to check out some of the ones mentioned, but I already noticed a few I definitely dislike, so throw in some Classic original mixes in your set too, and try to post a mix sometimes, would love to hear it
