Yea. I don't see why Audio jelly can charge .99 for a WAV but Beatport charges almost 4.00 for an exclusive.

beatport is the protools of music sales... they suck balls, but they are ontop and practically industry standard. thus they can charge 10 bucks for shit wrapped in tinfoil and people would buy it.

only reason i shop there is because they get all the damn exclusives.

Yea, I used to only give my sales to AudioJelly… but when Beatport started doing WAVs.. I started going there. My god it became expensive real quick. It felt like buying Vinyls all over again, except I was not getting 3 tracks per $6 I was spending and at least with vinyl I could hold it in my hand and touch it while mixing.

Once Audiojelly put WAVs out for.99 it was all over and I don't think I have been back to Beatport since. They get exclusives.. but after 2 weeks, all the other shops get those tracks. Since I do my buying at the end of each month.. it works out haha.

I know this discussion is going a bit away from the topic, but what about Juno, TP's partner?

Just hope the sale will be 'pure' as well

Also, since we have very good contact with Rich's PR agent (the one who mentionned us in this press-release), I hope we can also give away a lot of the releases on Pure Trance Recordings

I used to purchase vinyl all the time from Juno and used them for years. However, when AudioJelly (which is owned and operated by they guys from Lustral / Space Brothers) has a new release in WAV for .99 and Juno is 2.74, I prefer to give my business to the two artists who tracks I have purchased though out the years and now they help me out by making purchasing music very easy on the wallet

Ye I saw it now, almost € 2 for a WAV. Just bought the full Any Other Day release there. But I don't need WAV, I just bought them in 320 MP3

Yea I love WAV. Im an audiophile so anytime I can get something uncompressed, I do it.

I will choose Juno as well, when i want to buy some track from this new Solarstone's label. Really looking forward to it He build a great foundation for it with his radioshow & Pure Trance comps.
