QuoteI have always loved long progressive tracks from the likes of BT, Sunday Club and Sasha who've have made tracks well over 10 minutes. You don't hear that much anymore and I was wondering why is that..? I ended up thinking that it's the 2014 EDM culture which has made DJs so visible stage performers that (at least in DJs' heads) there is a need to do something actively when playing and that has lead into two minute quick mixing and sets loaded with mashups.
Don't get me wrong: I understand that in a big room/festival setting that works very well, but I also believe that many people still enjoy longer progressions and tracks with many parts flowing seamlessly from one to another. I wanted to try to make a track like that: epic intro, deep & groovy build up part, emotive breakdown, driving D part, uplifting peak moment and percussion driven outdo. Hope you like it
