The track would be considered Classic Trance - due to it's signature drum sounds - 4/4 beat, off-beat hi-hat and long/delayed clap, bright melody synths, an off-beat bassline and 130-136bpm tempo.
But the genre of Trance covers way too many other genres types and with music nowadays, you can listen to a track that has Progressive House, Garage, Dubstep and House elements that all come together to make a 'Trance' sound.
I'm big on the fact that genres don't really exist anymore, it's just another way to describe the type of sounds that you hear - like bright, crunchy, dull, thin, layered, bigroom, anthemic, distorted, melodic, uplifting, progressive, quiet, loud etc.
