So you probably already heard that Winamp, an known media player will no longer be available for download after December 20, and it will be no longer developed, meaning the current version is the last. This was always my player of choice, so pretty sad to see it end. What about you guys? What do you use for your music needs on pc, or will use if switching players?

Never used Winamp, always used iTunes for all my music.

I use itunes too, but I used to use Rhythmbox which was so much better than itunes. I should download a windows version of Rhythmbox cause it can play FLAC music too but the effort of getting all that sorted

I used Winamp when I was using windows, now I'm using Rhythmbox.
Man, reading this got me all nostalgic now. Winamp was such a cool app back in the day. I remember when I used to download skins to pimp my Winamp and then show it to my friend.

Use winamp with a plugin/theme, so really sad to see its end now. I will probably still continue to use it after last version.

Same here. Always used Winamp ever since I got my first PC and the thought of changing my player makes me sad. I will probably keep the latest version, but if I decide to switch to another player I think it would be either iTunes or Aimp, simply because of it's resemblance to Winamp.

Used to use Winamp donkeys ago, but never really liked it. Been an iTunes user for a while and really like it.

Wow I forgot about Winamp. I never used it as they never made it for Mac OS, but my friends all had it. I remember the llama thing every time it started up.

Gutted to hear this.. as I seem to be one of the few people still using Winamp!

It STILL really whips the llama's ass, and I intend to keep using it for a while yet. If it aint broke, don't fix it.

One of the reasons I love it is the plugin to scrobble to Last.FM, although I appreciate there are other ways of doing that.
