Hi all,

What’s there to know then... Not too much.

I’m a Dj / Producer (but aren’t we all). My mates love my stuff while I believe it to be average so most the tracks I make are sat on a hard drive never to see the light of day.
When I get a spare min I do a postcast style thingy. I blog when I can be arsed and I occasionally play out in clubs but not nearly as much as I would like.

Massive massive dance music fan. Not just trance but many different styles. This is reflected in my sets (my god what an awful cliché!).

My favourite Dj / Producer right now is Gareth Emery. Love Garuda Records as well as AVA and Revealed.

I idolised Tiesto till he released Kaleidoscope and I saw him play the tetras theme tune at Victoria Park. Sigh. 

I spent my youth at Slinky (Opera House) on the south coast but right now by favourite club in the UK by a mile is Sankys in Manchester. Great people.

Ill post some tunes and mixes and stuff once ive participated a bit. I know how annoying it is when people join these things just to push their latest mix.

Catch you all soon.

That's a proper intro, sir.

Welcome aboard, Richard! Make yourself at home.

Oh, Emery is my favorite producer too!

Welcome in our community, Richard! :D

Don't hesitate to post your mixes/productions. We have a special section for those :)

I'm still a Tiësto fan, but I also think he isn't as good as before anymore. Cz of his change of style. I do think tho that even in this new direction, he still knows how to pick the good tunes out of the many crappy ones of that genre. He does play some awful tracks sometimes also, like the tetris theme tune you've mentionned, I've seen him a couple of times last year again and I still think his sets are awesome. He knows how to throw a party :D And the tetris tune... I think that was a joke ;)

Anyway, welcome! :D

Oh and my favorite DJ/producer from the last couple of years is Menno de Jong, but I like Gareth very much too! :) Even if his sets at ASOT 500 were all disappointing ;)

Your right, im perhaps being a little harsh on the big man. Still Love his other stuff as Allure.

Even though its not my cup of tea, he was right to go in a new direction. Progress is what separates us from the animals.

Keeping on a Tiesto theme, I just posted my remix of "Knock You Out", in the Artist Showcase area. Feel free to check it out / point and laugh. ;)

Look forward to chatting to you all soon.
