Hello.

Who am i?
Im a trance/electronica "producer" from Norway.
Im 24 years old and been making music for about ten years. Mostly trance :hp:
I thought this forum might provide some feedback that would help me improve. :)

Genre?
Melodic trance ,dance and electronica.

Program?
Renoise

Experience?
Been a long time since i have been active on any trance forums.
I thought it was time to return ,since i never stopped creating trance and i realy want to improve. :)
During the past couple of years i have learned how much mastering and EQing
can do to a song. Its like a whole new world.

Im not exactly a mastering GOD yet ,but it improves for each new song/experience.
Would realy like some good advice on both mastering and EQ. :D

Current songs?
Here`s a link to a few of my new songs.

Feedback?
Would be deeply appreciated.
Propably people with a lot more experience than me out there ;)

Hey SteenRNS, welcome to TrancePodium.

Hope you'll find us worthy enough to be an active part of. :)

I listened to some of your tracks. Very melodic as you said, and I feel they could use a more banging, club oriented versions.

Loving the piano in Fata Morgana, is it live?

Hi. Your music is way better than mine was when I was 24! Keep it up. :hp:

I can however add a criticism.

Your Fata Morgana track has an outstanding piano synth performance. A couple of keys lower and it would be a brilliant Kylie cover (Wow):

This is cool, but if you wanted to be more original, please may I ask for some more chords in the 1:24-1:40 interlude, as it has the makings of a monster tune.

Please don't be offended if this isn't you, but I wanted to say this. Again, keep up the great work. ;)

I have actualy never heard that Wow song before :p
The chords used in Fata Morgana is quite widespread. Everyone uses them.
I dont usualy make remixes of songs. I want my stuff to be my own.
I do agree that i could benefit from some more chords at those places you pointed out.
I`ll look into it :hp:
No offense taken by the way. All feedback is welcome. ;)
