Beautiful chill tracks? -
4 March 2011, at 21:29
Hey all! I'm trying to find some really nice, beautiful calming tracks. Particularly I'm looking for trance, ambient, psyambient, psychill, but anything you can suggest that is really chill and relaxing would be great.

I'm looking for songs similar to these:
Ott - Queen of All Everything  :<3:

Younger Brother - Psychic Gibbon

Kaskade - Right Dream

Sunlounger - White Sand

Well its not Trance but my favourite chillout has got to be Zero 7 with the When It Falls album. As well as (of course) the famed chillout track by FC Kahuna called Hayling

Thanks for the recommendations. I've never heard of FC Kahuna before but that song is really nice. I'll have to check out that album as well.

I'd also go with Roger Shah's Sunlounger album 'The Beach Side Of Life'. CD 1 of that album contains chillout versions of his tracks. Beautiful vocal gems in it as well :)

Carrie Skipper - Time Goes By (Floris De Haan Remix) A great remix of my favourite song of all time :D

Jaytech's Drive (with Melody Gough) and Nighthawk are both chillout as well as DJ Tab - Verso (Chillout Mix)

:D

Yup I have to check out that Sunlounger cd, I've really liked his other albums.
Nice recommendations, I really like Time Goes By. Beautiful song. Is that DJ Tab from Super8 and Tab? I didn't know he made music like this.

Indeed it is, Tab from Super8 & Tab :P They've both done a couple of tracks on their own. I'm sure the chillout mix of Verso was just to make the published EP seem more full. Justs found this on Discogs for Anjunabeats' Chilled Collection: http://www.discogs.com/DJ-Tab-Verso-EP/release/1298452

Thank you for the recommendations Amay! Very nice ambient and psychill, my kind of music. :) I really liked For Your Breakfast, what a beautiful sound. I kept getting chills while listening to it. And that Voda track is fantastic! Do you have any other recommendations of songs/artists similar to these? I'm surprised Armin played Solar Fields, it doesn't seem like his style of music of music to me.

I'll have to check out those mixes Shadowman, looks great. :D

Hehe you're welcome and yeah I might and well I still call it trance and it back when Armin playing some really cool stuff on his show. Some of these are deep hypnotic very trancy ambient tracks. Check out other tracks by Tokyo Boulevard more on the jazzy chilled side though.

That Solar Fields - Overload has a better mix for Trance which was on the intro to ASOT 232.

H.U.V.A. Network - Overload (DJ Anti & Solar Fields Mix)

Have a listen to ASOT 232 and check out the same version but I think it's at a healthy BPM of about 135 :D

Amay: Great songs, I liked every one of them. Some great hypnotic ambient soundscapes as well as ambient songs with nice driving beats. I'm gonna have to add a lot of new music to my itunes library. :D Deep Mystery has such a rich deep sound. Any idea on which album to start with for Jonn Serrie? I was also really impressed with Guitarra G, what kind of music style is that? Sounds like breakbeat but very chill.

Zakrush:  Nice song! This is the first time I've heard HUVA Network though I've heard Aes Dana and Solar Fields' solo work before. Gonna have to check them out. :)

Any chance you have some more ambient songs with a more organic, earthy feel, and less spacey feel?
Something along the lines of:
Secede - Leraine

Ishq - Bhakti

@Pokkie Definitely these ones for more spacey ones.

If you are looking for non-spacey one I can recommend new age classical music and new age ambient.More organic lovely stuff.Guitarra G is actually a Deep House/Chillout track :)

Deep House

Prog House chill

This does sound Mau5y but relaxing.

Trance one of my favourites from 2008 I asked Armin to play it but he refused to play it :( How awesome is the piano work? Now this is what I call a proper piano unlike the cheesy ones we get these days.
