I know it's not trance, but I'm sure many of you here have heard of the French duo "Daft Punk" at least once before. Anyway, I just found a brief article that states the duo is producing the music to the anticipated sequel to Disney's 1982 film "Tron", which is apparently going to be titled "TR2N".

Some of the earlier tracks are decent too, havent heard new stuff but I'm sure its good.

Unfortunately my tastes vary from yours, I got love for Daft Punk, but there will never be a time where any genre can hold a candle to uplifting melodic trance and "victory" trance

When you put David Guetta and The Killers in the same line as Tiësto and Armin tells me enough and I'm sure Daft Punk is in no way a competition for both Tiësto and Armin. Even PVD will easily outplay them

I used to like Daft Punk's productions actually, but that was like 9-12 years ago with tracks like Around The World and One More Time. At that time I loved French house. Modjo and even the beginning of David Guetta as well. But that was back then. Now there's only little bit of house left that I like and Daft Punk sure isn't one of them anymore.

I haven't seen Tron and knowing it's a Disney movie I know why and I can't be arsed to see TR2N either

I disagree about the LOTR. Each one of them was better than the previous.

Most of the sequels suck because they're only made because of the huge commercial success of the first movie. Most of them weren't originally planned to happen. This wasn't the case with LOTR, where all 3 parts were made at once.

True, very true. People will go see a sequel for films they enjoyed in the original. I hope TR2N doesn't turn out to be a bust like so many others.

And I never knew they filmed all three LOTR films at once. I thought there was at least a bit of a break between them.

May i also add that all LOTR movies were AMAZING and the third one was EPIC. Really loved it

If we continue about sequals or trilogies, I know a couple as well.

The Bourne Trilogy, all 3 were absolutely AMAZING!!! I can't chose which I prefer. Matt Damon is awesome!
The Godfather Part II might even be better than the first.
Kill Bill, same case as LOTR, both were made at the same time. Both are really good.
Taxi 1, 2 and 3. I even prefer the 2nd a little, but all 3 are very good. Only the 4th kinda sucked.

And I bet there are a few more
