Gadhafi is Dead -

I'm sure, every one has read articles of the former Libyan strong mans death by the rebel fighters (almost a starwars reference there). Its all over CNN and else where and theres even a video of his body being jerked around. So theres no need for me to post any links on here.

How does everyone else feel this will effect the world stage, not just in Libya but the Arab World, and its relations with the West?

I don't think it will effect much on their relations with the west. Also the Arabian League was against Gadhafi after a while.

His death is no punishment to him tbh. This is what he wanted. To fight till his death. And that's what he has done. He has kept hi word on this hehe. Rather had seen him arrested and being in jail till his death.

He got what was coming to him but agree with Remco he should have been brought to trial.

In the UK alone he has been part responsible for numerous deaths in the Lockerbie air disaster and his backing of the IRA by suplying arms and semtex to attack the british public.

I don't think the relationship with the west will change much either although we can hope. Let's not forget that Libya wouldn't be in this position without the much needed help of the west world
