Guetta's style (especially with his first hits) first reminded me a little bit of Daft Punk. But his current flow is really wierd man. It's the popculture he got in to which makes him so lame. Everything he produces has 'make money' all written over it. Where's the soul with this guy.... Same goes for Tiesto. He got too famous and I lost sight of this guy. Armin is somewhat on his way as it currently seems. It's just my humble opion.

Guys...Lets' just keep Trance alive and fresh bursting with awesomeness without getting in to the entire commercial thing.

EDIT: With commercial I mean...going for mass..not for quality. Because quality will be picked up by those who appriciate or at least want to.

Just cz you lost sight of him, doesn't mean he lost his soul. His soul just went another direction, simply cz he found more pleasure in it. Something he couldn't find in trance anymore and the thing that should drive everybody. With Tiësto it certainly isn't money written all over, unlike what many people say. Cz if it is, then why he's giving away soooo many free tracks? I've seen Tiësto about 15-20 times now and the last few times he was smiling while spinning in a way I've never seen him smile before. He's simply enjoying what he does. And that's all that matters. A total different story than Gaytta.

Ha nothing shocks me with Tiesto anymore. I think if he did a collab with Gaga or some other mainstream artist I wouldn't care, I think i've just got used to him collaborating with artists who suck (imo).

I am returning on that. Although I still don't like his new style I saw an interview of Tiesto when he stayed in Miami. He talked about the critisism he got from Europe (mainly the netherlands) and said he started to doubt that he was doing good. That kind off shocked me. Nothing is worse than thinking you are following your intuition and heart and people say you are doing wrong. Truthfully, I got more sympathy and understanding for his coursechange. At heart he is a DJ with producing skills. And making tracks with famous artists is his new way of doing what he likes. As Ben says; I also think some artists suck IMO. But he is good at what he does and there is no doubt about that.

Saying Guetta = Tiesto is no longer valid for me although they commercially share some stones of the path.
