Yes, I'm expecting it to be quite hard. Although for this time, I am the only artist to be on the label. But this thing isn't going to take off soon, as a lot of planning still has to be made. If it ever pushes through, as I've mentioned before, I will be the only artist on it for quite some time, so I will be able to support the whole thing.
My plan to start this label comes from the idea that I would like to separate N. Andrei as an artist, and me as a businessman. So N. Andrei, and my record label are different entities, although they actually refer to the same person, just with different roles. So, if I'm going to make licensing deals and contact radio DJs, (or DJs playing at clubs, for that matter,) I will be using the business name instead, rather than N. Andrei, as an artist.
But a much more long term dream for this is the opportunity to provide even a few people with jobs. A lot of students graduating in the Philippines can't even find jobs here. I am one of the fortunate ones to be in a university where we are the ones sought after by companies, not the other way around.
