the n95 is an amazing phone but has terrible battery life but they are updating it with 8gb flash mem so maybe they can upgrade the battery

s-e does have the ambient light sensor, my screen and keypad always lights up if i walk thru shadows
i don't care about the multi part of the touchscreen, touchscreen is touchscreen
not sure about the accellorometer, i guess you mean for touch, any app that i need to use a single feature a lot all accells, and on the media player you can just touch where you want to seek so who wants to spin a wheel like those ancient ipods, lol

not to mention the iPhone has MUCH longer batery life compared to current PDA phones.

s-e's current lineup are legends of battery life, apple upped the battery and tweaked some features to get decent battery time, if you can recall that announcement, let's also not forget that sony has 3g and non-crippled wifi, also dont forget no ringtones on iphones yet and you can bet that mp3s will be locked from being used once they start selling their ringtones

dont care too much about apple and at&t for that matter, they will always gimp the customer, it doesnt fail, i mean at&t even gimps s-e cells they offer, so retail/unlocked is the only way to buy phones, and not from some trendy giant that gimps features

well I  totally agree with you on the mater about AT&T, they do suck.  Unfortunately I   have had them for about 9 years now, and thier service is not bad at all, but ther sales / customer service / phone selection sucks the big one.  Everytime someone with a iPhone / w800 / razr calsl AT&T about the service, they always blame the phone manufacturer.

Like launch day for the iPhone.  500,000+ people bought it that day, got home, tried to activate it, and AT&T's servers crashed.  What did they do?  they told everyone they had faulty iPhones and needed to return them to Apple.

And an accelerometer is the device that allows you to rotate the phone, and it will automaticaly adjust the screen for horozontal and vertical viewing.

The N95 is defo a nice phone.  I have always loved Nokia's and Ericsson. I just really love the touchscreen on my iPhone.  I dont think i ever want to go back to a phoe with buttons haha.

o ya that thing w960 and/or k850 have one of those things in it now, ^_^

also been a fan of nokia for ages, just havent looked back since they cant touch s-e in battery life anymore

buttons are kinda handy for blind dialing, hehe
but hopefully soon voice recognition will be so good all we wear is a bluetooth headset with the phone built-in

I hope not.. I cant stand Bluetooth headsets..  lol.  they work great, but they look.. err.. not to great.  :p

Ericsson will defo be the first to get the voice recog the best, they already have it where it works almost all the time compared to other phone companies.

My sisters RAZR's voice recog blows, and never understands you, yet my 5 year old T237 gets it spot on almost 95% of the time.
