I can see that more and more people are going online on this forum! It makes me very happy.  Let's make this board one of the greatest ones dedicated to Trance!

Indeed. The number of visits has increased quite a bit lately. Not the case with the number of forum posts though. Many people come, register, watch the topics but don't post :/

Yeah i've noticed that the community has certainly got a lot bigger since I joined last year. It's very good to see.

i would hope this doesnt become like trance.nu . i looked at their forum, just a bunch of pretentious elitists.But i really like it here, theres tracklistings and dl links for more trance mixes than i could listen to.

slave_25637: I don't think we'll become trance elitists here, so don't worry. One of our main competitive advantages is the people here are nice. Sure, there could be arguments that people change, but I think one of the main aspects that make this forum unique is that we have a culture of being friendly. Just like you, I hope that this culture will not be lost either. (ps. Trance Addict also has a reputation for having lots of trolls)

Marjan: I agree, there are a lot of registrants, but they don't post a lot. But I do see some of them coming back online. Most of them are lurkers. Perhaps they will post someday when they feel that they have something to say. Let's just say that they're polite 'listeners' to our discussions.

Great points Nick. I think we have a good balance of DJ's, producer's, and Trance fans here, and hopefully it will stay that way, rather than having too many of one group of people.

Yeah, that kind of diversity is quite important. That balance makes for a great diverse community. If the forum is able to maintain that balance, then by theory it should be a very important hub for musicians and listeners alike. This place has a lot of potential in it. I felt that when I joined this forum, and until now I still feel that way.

I would rather the forum stay relatively low profile but still have a friendly atmosphere. But it is cool to see traffic going up at the same time.
