Yes, incredible isn't it? And knowing I would probably do the same, makes me feel like an idiot haha

But in the morning, when you have to hurry to get at work on time, there's no time to perceive beauty, even if you want it to. An angry boss will be waiting for you. I think it would be different already when people come back from work and go home. Even without knowing who he is also, I'm sure he would get more listeners in the afternoon.

This could never happen to me tho, as I'm going to work by car. Damn, I'm probably missing out on a lot of stuff :(

Prince did a thing like this also in the streets of Amsterdam at his most succesful period, playing as a streetmusician. Nobody knew it was him, cz nobody expects him to be there. Don't know if he got a lot of listeners or money tho.

If it was John Williams, i'd definately stop and pay him attention for an hour or so, regardless if i was in a hurry  :D

Don't know who John Williams is, but the thing is, you don't expect those people to play there, so you don't know it's them.

WOW that was incredible! :O

But I gotta agree with Remco here, when you're in a hurry you won't pay too much attention on other things, and the people who stopped to watch him play probably weren't in a hurry.

If the thieves only knew who he was and how much that violin was worth... :D

This is amazing.  I think if it were I, and walked past him in that subway station, I would of been late of work.  What an amazing musician he is, and always wanted to see him perform.

It is very unfortunate that most people live life way to quickly.  Its the rat race, and it is all you do and have time for.  In the states, it is even worse.  With most companies only giving you a week or two to actually slow down and enjoy your life each year, the rest is one giant routine.

Hmm.. maybe I will call out today  ;)

Thanks for the amazing post.
