I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet! Its got a lot of action, a good storyline and themes/lessons that make you think!

Book of Eli = pants! The film is useless. The trailer shows it's only good points. Denzel Washington is an amazing actor and I praised the fact that his acting may have saved everyone leaving the cinema early but the film moves at such a slow pace with a story that isn't too impressing. The action (or what little there was) was pretty cool but I'm pretty sure i saw that in the trailer as well. The film has the atmosphere and background of something like Fallout 3 (the game) - which is amazing...so I was expecting open landscapes with interesting events but there was barely enough in the film to arouse any edge-of-the-seat entertainment.
As for the religious side of things, I'm not massively Christian nor am I a fanatical atheist but the story itself just doesn't excite me in anyway.

Sorry for the rant. Was just very disappointed.

Interesting, I'm not surprised people hated it. I correctly predicted that my own friends would hate it, but I LOVED IT, not so much the actions happening but the story, the story you only get from yourself
