So, what are you afraid of in this world?

I'm scared of bridges (Gephyrophobia) due to the fact that none of the bridges near where I live are taken care of whatsoever until they either collapse or are believed to be collapsing soon. I took that information as a small child and applied it to large bridges, which scared the living daylights out of me. Then the big bridge collapse in Minnesota (U.S.) a while back only reaffirmed this for me. Basically, I freak out at bridges that take more than 5 seconds or so to cross.

I think I'm afraid of losing my hearing. My life is based so much around music as well as my perspective listening, and I would most likely start going crazy if my ears really were to fail at any point before I'm 80.

I'm afraid of bees, wasps, or anything else that's similar to them. My brother destroyed an entire nest of bees when I was five years old, but they all followed me inside the house and left my brother alone. :/ To make a long story short, it took over an hour to get all the stingers out of my body and I was swollen for a few days afterward. Now I'm more susceptible to the toxins in the stingers than I was before it.

Since Zak already mentioned one of the most imminent fears we have around in this forum, I'm personally afraid of being used.

I also have what's known as "Genophobia," but I'm not going to go into that!

I'm really afraid of losing my friends. They mean more than anything to me and it would kill me to lose them.

aww WLS that happened with me too xD i was on a trip and ran alone after some cows ( :-D ) when a lot of bees started to follow me, not the cows :-( i could not rotate my head 3 days... i was only 7
since then im afraid of any kind of small, flying insects.

SNAKES!!! I HATE THEM, saw one in a trip to the mountains we had with the school and i was so disgusted of it, having nightmares for many days...I am also really scared walking in the dark alone, i constantly feel i have someone behind me.

I'm not affraid about dentists or knifes generally, but the dentist told me a few years ago already that 2 of my cornerteeth has to be cut out. I still didn't do it and I even haven't been to the dentist for 2 years cause he keeps reminding me. I'm really affraid of knifes in my mouth!
