So where is it?
Do you buy mainly Mixed CD's from a local record store?  Or do you iTunes?
How about singles, do you likie Digital Downloads, or prefer vinyl.

Me?  I buy CDs from iTunes, Digi downloads from Audiojelly and Beatport, and buy vinyl from Chemical Records.

Unfortunately all the local shops that used to be here are now gone.  Its really sad.

I only buy mp3, from BeatPort!

It's about music! Not one music style is better than the other, not one music style is more truly than the other. The whole thing is based on respect. It's all music, music never separates people!

My favorite place is Vonyc but if they don't have stuff I buy it from Audiojelly.
If I do buy a CD I try to buy directly from a label if possible but if not I usually go with Amazon.  I know they're expensiv but I also know I'm going to get what I buy in the right condition.  If anyone has a better shop in the UK I'd like to know.

I have to go to another city to buy CD's, as there aren't any shops here. Most of the psy artists don't release singles, so I prefer having the albums on a CD rather than mp3's.

All of my songs are digital or on cd.  At present, FYE and Best Buy are the only places in my town where you can find techno/trance/house music.  Circuit City has a small section devoted to electronic music.  Good luck finding any electronic music in Wal-Mart!
Now known as Randy Derricott. I may sometimes use the DJ Ranz alias for certain projects though.

lol Walmart is such a joke when it comes to good electronic music.
i used to get all my music from our local music store, before it shut down.  The owner would even call me sometimes when he got in some new catalogs.
I don't know if you have a Hastings in your area, but I found some decent things there a few times.

I'm old fashioned and just buy vinyl lol. I used to go to a record shop where my girlfriend used to live before she moved in with me. I got on well with the owner. I was his best customer he said. I used to walk in and he'd say 'Matt I've got the perfect tune for you'. He'd keep them on one side for me. I even got to DJ at a night he held once a month. Unfortunately the shop has closed now and the monthly night is no more because the promoters fell out.

The only shop near me is HMV and it's rubbish for trance and progressive vinyls. So I order my vinyls from websites based in Holland! lol. They are www.dancegrooves.com and www.4djsonly.com . I have to pay a bit extra for delivery since they are sent by airmail but it's worth it. I just ordered some new vinyls a couple of days ago lol.
