Welcome Randy! Glad you'll stay for both hours! :D

Starting this episode a bit housy, more of these beats will come but I've got some awesome gems waiting to be played! :D

That's perfectly fine. I start off my sets with house records too. They kinda serve as a warmup. :)

Yeah I agree. My professor was kinda surprised when he heard that I use Pryda tracks in my trance sets. :)

But this week I've got more of electro-house than progressive. I hope you'll enjoy it :)

I am sure I will. A lot of electro tracks can pass for progressive.

I'm sure you love this one, if not for it's melody, then for it's name.

02. Gareth Emery - Tokyo (Original Mix)

Oh yeah! I heard he sampled Ayu's vocals for it! I am looking it up on Discogs.

Yeah, and this is what I just found considering the lyrics:

Quote
Alright, got the answer! Gareth Emery did a live Question & Answer session yesterday on Ustream and I got to ask him,

Samson: What is she saying in Tokyo? A few of us would like to know!

Gareth Emery: I don't even know, it was like a bunch of different samples. Some is in reverse, some was just chopped up and rearranged in a different way... so the sad answer to "What's she saying?" is "I don't know!" (haha) You can make it up and decide she's saying what ever you'd like.

Alright so there you have it! I've been singing it for the past week as "One beat, is my fear", so that's what I'll keep saying! lol I agree, one beat is terrifying.

Thanks for answering Gareth!

03. Albin Myers - Hells Bells

I believe this one is also played by Tiesto as well, it has such a strong baseline!
