I hope so. I think with 8 vocal tracks being more than 50% of the album is a bit too much. Especially Ferry is always ferry good with instrumentals, but I have to listen first to make a judgement. Can't wait! :D

Agreed, but we already heard most of those instrumental track, so that leaves us with the unknown vocal ID's :p

Looking forward to hear it! :hp:

Ferry Never Fails! When in doubt, please relisten to his previous discs.
Now known as Randy Derricott. I may sometimes use the DJ Ranz alias for certain projects though.

But he did change style and I don't like his latest vocal track. There's still 'Don't Be Affraid', 'WKND' and 'Sunday' left as instrumentals tho :D

I don't care about the vocals. The instrumentals are what will make the album.

Not one to be constrained to the underground EDM scene – vast as it may be – Ferry Corsten tackles and conquers the mainstream with a series of pop radio-friendly songs that have “hit” written all over them.

...

Wow, this article sure likes to mention words pop and mainstream. To me, that about sums it up.

Yeah, I believe it is a sad day when we have to be happy because we got 3 instrumentals on an album, and be happy without even knowing of their quality.

Anyway, to me, this album has the word fail written all over it. It is mostly for pop crowds, an assurance of which I find in article. Definitely not going to bother with it. Do not expect anything good from likes of Ferry and Armin, anyway.

But pop-radio friendly can also mean massive trance tracks. It's not neccesarily bad. I don't know how many great pop-radio friendly trance tracks I've already heard in the past from producers like Tiësto, Armin, Ferry, Markus, Rank 1, etc. Most of those were instrumental and true trance :D

Well, it got 7 instrumentals on it, but 4 of those we know already. That leaves 3 ;)

I'm interested in how this album will turn out. I really enjoyed the Once Upon a Night compilations but this album seems to be a lot more 'poppy' than what I'm used to hearing from him. What songs have already been released from this album?

By the way, is Don't Be Afraid a redone version of Moonman - Don't Be Afraid? :hp:

02. Ferry Corsten - Feel It!
03. Ferry Corsten feat. Ben Hague - Ain't No Stoppin
06. Ferry Corsten vs. Armin van Buuren - Brute
09. Ferry Corsten - Check It Out
13. Ferry Corsten - Take Me (not released, but played a lot by Ferry for almost a year now)

And no, I think this will be another Don't Be Affraid. Ferry is not known for making remakes of other tracks without crediting ;)

But Moonman is his own alias :p And he remade the track Galaxia he made under that name in past under real name, so I wouldn't put it past him. But I hope you are right, another pointless remake is not needed :undecided:

Hmmm, this is £7 pre order on Play.com, not sure if I should get it or not.

Really? Ooops

And true, he also remade The Race and called it Brainbox.

Think I will get it as I don't have Feel it and Brute. Take Me is my most hottest anticipated track for about a year now and I have not been listening to it on youtube so it should sound nice and fresh.

Also, the vocal tracks on his last album were OK.
