Ok, so I thought of this idea when I was at a underground club the other week and saw flyers in the toilets for some festival in a few weeks time.

Do you reckon that it would be good for Trance Podium to get some Business like cards advertising the site? Then if people are willing when they go to a club they can take some with them and just drop them around?

I am not sure if this sort of stuff works and I know it will cost a bit of money but anyway thought I would put the idea out there Could get some more members onto the site and let people know its here.

That's actually not a bad idea.

The question is: how many people will be willing to do this? If we get enough volunteers I can order some flyers printed and have them sent over to you guys, so you can take them with you when you go out clubbing and spread them.

I've never done offline marketing, so I have no idea whether this could work, but it's worth a try.

Also, if anyone would like to help promote the site online, you can start by inviting your friends to our facebook fan page.

Well I would be up for it of course the only thing is I am not sure how much it is going to cost and how effective it would be could be worth a trial though.

At an internet printing shop, you can get a lot for about € 100. I'm not sure how it would work tho. Will the clubs like spreading around the flyers? You can't get them in without them noticing it.

Calling cards are like little cards with a logo and the website on it.

Like the one on the right. A hand full of those in your pocket would be no problem I don't think.

Unless you have to empty your pockets at the entrance what happens at a lot of clubs. Don't know what clubs do when they see a bunch of those cards. But it could be worth a try.

Aye I dont know I have very rarely been asked to empty my pockets, they could go in your wallet as well you would only need a few.

Anyway just a idea have a look into it and see what you think it depends if people are willing to distribute but it wouldnt take long just drop a few on tables etc.

I often pick up small leaflets that are advertising upcoming events and a small card would probably find its way into my pocket.

I have emailed my friend in work who got us ours for work she might know a place local that does them cheep as I know the owner of our company is not going to spend a lot of money.

I would be happy to distribute for the UK for this area if it keeps down costs and stuff. We would need one of our graphics guys to come up with a decent design though.

I work at a printing office, but with the machines we have, the costs will be about € 250 for this and I'm not going to ask my boss bout this. At an internetshop it will probs be about € 150, but with digital printing (and I mean on a high quality machine, which is very good quality) it will probs be about € 60. These are the Dutch prices of course and excl. taxes.

I can try to design something, it doesn't have to look too difficult, just plain simple, using 1 or 2 images with the site's address on it, but I don't have any high res images from TP

I have sourced a local company that we use £25 for 100 cards? If someone gets me a design I could try and get them printed up ASAP

It needs to look professional when we do this If Marjan can send me high res illustrations of the banner and badge and I can make something.
