Hello, I'm hoping one of you can help me out. I found this track labeled as Gareth Emery ft. Emma Hewitt - I Will Be The Same (Garuda Remix). It is definitely NOT that track, haha. I have no idea what artist or track this actually is but I really like it and am hoping it can be ID'd.

The vocals are a little hard to make out, but what I can hear is "In my dreams" and then one phrase sounds like "I watched the little starbeams as I said goodbye (?)". Really at a loss here. The full track sounds like it was from a set, but it's hard to tell. I have no other info, sorry ;(

Anyway, I'm attaching a low-bitrate short sample from the vocals and main buildup. Thanks for the help  :<3:

to me it sounds like:

in our dream, we walk together
i walk away, broken and scattered i,

but our dreams are beyond...........

and i lost a little........

and i say goodbye.

i have looked for about a half hour and cant find a thing. That indicates one of two possibilities. Either i cant search as well as i used to be able to, or the song has no recorded lyrics anywhere i can poke my nose with the info i have before me. That being said, if i had a higher quality snippet that gave me more lyrics or indeed the same ones but decipherable, my job would be easier. I will wager your indentical plea on Trance.NU will go unanswered for the same reason. Onyl difference is, i am a nut for finding these things.

Trust me, I've done my fair share of searching for this one too :( The vocals are a little hard to make out even in the normal track, which is 320kbps. The volume seems to fluctuate a bit throughout the track like it was a bad rip, I dunno. Anyway, here are two more slightly higher quality snips. Maybe this will help. :] Sorry about the voice logo, at the end of the first clip it obscures her saying "and I'm afraid".

The first one is the first vocal section, and the second clip is the original attachment just with hopefully clearer-sounding vocals. It continues for a few seconds after the snip ends and after that there aren't any more words.

nah. its the way the vocals have been mastered, or the way the rest of the song has been. Either or both kind of act to slur the words that seem to be most important. I will run the samples through a few of my programs to see if i can get a better grasp on what is being said. In the meantime, can you tell me where you found this song? or. more precisely, what it was with? if say for example it was on a CD or in a DL'd folder with a bunch of other songs

It was just in a folder with a bunch of other random tracks on a DC++ hub I found via another forum. It didn't have any tag attached to the file like it was from a release group, so that's why I assumed it was a rip. I wish I had more info ;/ Here's the file name as I found it: Gareth_Emery_Ft.Emma_Hewitt_-_I_Will_Be_The_Same__Original_Garuda_Mix_ Don't know if that helps any.

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. And no, I didn't. :( That would be too easy, wouldn't it? My luck isn't that great.

yeah, sorry. i didn't really mean to be patronizing there. I was really just trying to follow a process at the time. What i really was trying to get at after all was whether or not the track in front and the track behind order wise were perhaps the actual names of the track in question. Its not uncommon to have mistakes like that in random folders of music. It makes life a nightmare to try and find the things you really like. I actually quite like this song, hence why i have taken a while to search for it, but the thing is, the lyrics i am fairly sure i know. they are fairly clear after many dozens of times listening to it. They just arent posted anywhere. That really is a shame. Wont stop me looking though.

Do you remember from which Set on DC++ you downloaded the track? What was the name of the folder?
