This Autumn Lange is set to release his debut Album. The double CD will feature lots of new material together with a 2nd disc collating some of his strongest and best loved work from the last decade. Un-mixed and brought together for the first time, this additional CD will feature a selection of classic Lange singles and remixes from the past. Much anticipated by his growing global fan base, the album will be a celebration of his extraordinary career so far.
Lange has been a key innovator of the Dance Music Industry ever since he put pen to paper on his first record deal ten years ago. He burst onto the scene with his massive remix of DJ Sakin – Protect Your Mind that stormed the UK Top 40 at #4, rapidly becoming a leading figure in the euphoric dance explosion that defined club culture at the turn of the millennium, being championed by likes of Paul van Dyk, Pete Tong, Judge Jules, Sasha and Paul Oakenfold.
Massive success followed, with now classic remixes such as Lost Witness – Happiness Happening soundtracking summers of hedonism in Ibiza and earning him further chart success. Solo productions like SuReal – You Take My Breath Away and Drifting Away (a Top Ten hit that landed him a performance on Top Of The Pops) further confirmed his exceptional production talent.
From euphoric trance leader to underground dance hero, as a DJ Lange does it all; rocking audiences of 25,000, performing at prestigious festivals such as Global Gathering, Summadayze, Creamfields and the Zurich Street Parade and making appearances for some of the best club brands in the world. His current ranking of 54 [DJ Mag Top 100 2006] shows he has firmly rooted himself as one of the world's top dance music DJs.
Over the past few years he has built up a hugely credible underground following, honing his sound to a refined blend of razor sharp electro basslines and uplifting melodies. Through his Lange Recordings label and his recent remixes and productions he has brought his own unique take on the trance genre to the world. Last year's smash, "Another You, Another Me" was one of the biggest dancefloor tunes of 2006 after being snapped up by Paul Van Dyk for his Vandit label. www.myspace.com/djlange
