Amsterdam-based record label founded in June 2003 by Armin van Buuren, Maykel Piron and David Lewis.
Currently, it owns about 28 different sublabels, each catering to a type of trance or house music. Some of the labels owned by Armada include AVA, Coldharbour Recordings, Perfecto Records, Vandit Records, Future Sound Of Egypt, Subculture and others.
In addition to Armin himself, Armada acts as an output hub for artists such as Chicane, Markus Schulz, Remy, M.I.K.E., Aly & Fila, Perry O'Neil, Max Graham, Mischa Daniels, StoneBridge, Tydi, Bjorn Akesson and others.
All physical copies of their releases are distributed by Sony Music Entertainment Netherlands B.V, except for vinyl releases, which are sold by Astral Music.
