One of the largest independent labels in Japan. Not a trance label per se, since its domestic artists range in everything from pop, to hip hop and rock, but it serves as a distributor of European Trance music for Japan, Taiwan, China, and Southeast Asia.

Some trance artists whose work is handled by Avex include Tiesto, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Armin Van Buuren, Rank 1, Darude, The Thrillseekers and others.
