Rapid Eye - Circa ForeverThis October & November will see a re-launched ATCR release the 2008 remixes of Rapid Eye’s ‘Circa-Forever’. Originally broken in the Spring of 2002 following a 4 month long  hammering from Tiësto & Armin van Buuren, the track went on to become one of the biggest selling releases on ATCR. Compiled onto over 20 compilations over the course of that year, its popularity amongst clubbers & DJs endures through to this day.

So, launching the remix package (and providing a classic 2008 update to the R.E.mix) Aly & Fila have landed a huge, euphorically faithful rework. Pre-promoed to just five DJs, it has already scored spins from Armin on ASOT & Eddie Halliwell on his (gone but not forgotten!) Radio 1 show. Galen Behr & Orjan Nilsen’s equally uplifting re-wash came to light when a YouTube link of them playing it at the Luminosity gig in The Netherlands landed in our inbox. Big, powerful and with a hypnotic twist to the riff, we were hooked in an instant! Heading State-side, New Yorker Mike Saint-Jules explores the outer reaches of the track’s melodic side with his piano tipped, celestially atmospheric re-cutting. Prog maestro Ivan Spell has added a whole new dimension to ‘Circa’, applying some real groove, funk & squelch to the production track, carving out a whole new vibe to the track in the process. If you can’t wait to get a peak at the next round of mixes, you can check them NOW on the ATCR YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/0atcr0 !

ATCR came to life in Oxford, England in the middle of 1998. Set up by Tim Stark, during his time working as sales manager for Amato Distribution, it was initially concieved as a route to release tracks from a small group of EDM artists living in the area.at the time. Through tracks like Pulser's 'Cloudwalking', Insigma's 'Insigma', Free Radical's 'Surreal' & Rapid Eye's 'Never Going Back', its instantly-recognisible silver, red & white covers rapidly became a fixture in DJ's record boxes. Over the following years, it embarked on a string of hits including Goldenscan's 'Sunrise' (which was remixed by Tiesto and was signed to Virgin's VC; Records) & DJ Garry's 'Dream Universe', which came out on by Xtravaganza Records and broke the UK Top 40.
