Meant to mention this earlier but keep forgetting when i am online.

We were trying to think of a reason WHY it has taken Napalm Poet so long to get some airplay on ASOT. I thought it was weird that Armin & co seemed to overlook one of the most played tracks since ASOT DB when all other radio shows, DJs and fans have been raving about it.

After some more discussion on Thursday it has been confirmed that Armada originally knocked back NP only for them to try and sign it 3 months later after hearing the feedback etc but obviously the track was snapped up by Kearnage Recordings.

Obviously DJ’s can play what they want on their shows but is this simply Armin / Armada being bitter about not signing NP?

I think that they wouldnt play it at all but with the way it went to number 1 on the Beatport chart they had no choice.

Anyone else agree?
