Welcome to the Sander van Doorn newsletter, firstly, apologies about the delay, better late than never though! As you are all aware, well in the northern hemisphere anyway, its getting bloody cold! There has been a lot going on over the last few, make yourself a nice warm brew and get up to speed with things, read on…….
Production Schedule

Well im sure you must know by now that my first artist album is almost finished, everyone here working in the team are as excited as I am and I reckon you guys will be too. I have the next few weeks off to make the last finishing touches, some editing and mastering etc. The release date is going to be early next year but we’re still discussing the best date. I have also been treating myself to some new production kit, lots of new plugs in, the usual. I really happy with some of the new sounds and idea’s I have ready for 2008. Right now I am also working on something a little special, it’s a big remix and something very different from me, if all goes well you can expect to see it on Doorn records very soon, ill let you know next month how it goes and hopefully by then I will have more info on the album.

FIFTEEN

The big news this month is that Sander has climbed 16 places to No. 15 in this year’s DJmag Top 100. Despite the results leaking a day before they were officially announced, Sander really had no idea where he was to end up, and we at Team SVD kept him in the dark until the night of the party, where he rocked it to a packed main room. This was the second year Sander had been invited to play at this prestigious event, leaving no doubt he is amongst the most popular DJs out there.

'UNTITLED' IS IN THE BAG

Sander’s hotly anticipated artist album is ‘in the bag’. After more than 6 months of planning and thought, followed by a further 6 months of hard work, Sander believes he’s done all he can, and we reckon he’s bang on the money! From what we’ve heard down the phone....yes....down the phone - this is going kick dance music right in the ass! There really aren’t words to describe what he’s come up with, and one track in particular is mind blowing, and that’s putting it mildly. We’re estimating a global release date early next year. Until then – keep those ears alert for a few cheeky previews over the coming months – ONLY IN SANDER’S SETS!

MORE RIFF

Riff is continuing to kick up a fuss in Sander’s homeland. Just check out the damage this one tune is doing. Number 1 in the Dutch Dance charts, and continuing to rule the roost, plus crossing over to mainstream radio! The Dutch radio stations are hammering this tune, and week after week it continues to make headlines. Tune of the week on Slam FM, and played out during the daytime on popular station Caz!
